Our kits work beautifully with the Strip Designer app for iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone.

 

 

Teachers can now get their class busy creating comics in the classroom on iPads by following these steps:

 

 

  1. Download one or more of our Comic Kits to your Mac or PC
  2. Unzip the file and place the folder in your Dropbox folder. (Dropbox is free and can be downloaded here.)
  3. Purchase the Strip Designer from the App Store on your iPad(s) (Currently £1.99)
  4. Pupils open Strip Designer on their iPad, create a new page and tap frame to 'Add Photo'
  5. Pupils click 'Dropbox' from the source menu. (the first time this is done, they must allow Strip Designer to link to Dropbox)
  6. Pupils navigate to the files in the folder you have provided in Dropbox
  7. Pupils add layers of images and add ballons to create their story.

 

How to use our Kits with the Comic Life or Comic Book apps

 

  1. Download one or more of our Comic Kits to your Mac or PC
  2. Unzip the file and place the folder in your Dropbox folder. (Dropbox is free and can be downloaded here.)
  3. Purchase the Comic Life from the App Store on your iPad(s) (Currently £2.99) or Comic Book (Currently £1.49).
  4. Create a new album on your iPad camera roll
  5. Open Dropbox on the ipad
  6. Click and save each image ou want to use to this album on your camera roll
  7. Place the images from the camera roll on to your page in the Comic Life or Comic Book app.
